If you were ever going to write the shortest self-help book on the planet you would have to start with the goal in mind and I'm going to put it to you that the goal is enlightenment. Now why would I choose enlightenment as the goal? Mainly because I've experienced enlightenment as I would understand it. It was a spontaneous, you would have to say magical experience that was completely unlike anything I've ever experienced in my life before or after. Like I said it came about spontaneously. It was a complete shift, a complete... it's hard to explain. It was beyond this reality. It was much deeper. The only way I can truly explain it is to say that it was I accessed an energetic reality or an energetic awareness. My consciousness melded with everything around me and I know this is hard to understand. The reason I'm telling you this is not to brag, it's not to big note myself. In fact I've kept it to myself for a long time mainly because people wouldn't believe me or don't believe me. The other thing is I don't need to tell you what I got from it. The whole... when I was in the very midst of the experience all I could think of was oh my god this is it this is the answer this is what I've been looking forward like if I can share this with other people it's gonna change the world it's gonna change it's gonna remove all the problems. It will remove the pain and the suffering and in its place will be something more familiar than you've ever experienced in your life. It is truly... this has been talked about before. It is literally like going home. Everything makes sense. You access full awareness and it is nothing like what we experience in our everyday reality. From that experience I've been able to develop a method of self-healing through what I call dynamic self awareness that allows you to feel good about yourself to feel as if you are connected to something greater to anything really but to feel connected to a purpose and meaning to life that I think deep down we're all looking for. How this came about and this is one of the big learnings that I got because pretty much straight after the experience it was you've heard the saying before enlightenment chop wood carry water after enlightenment chop wood carry water it is literally like that once the experience was over to be quite honest the next few days I don't really remember I have a feeling that it took a lot out of me and then it took me a few days to process but the lead-up was interesting in that I'd actually I was fed up I'd had enough I was never gonna kill myself but I'd gotten to the point where I had had enough and I lost my shit I literally flew into a rage and once that rage was spent I sat and waited I just had didn't know what else to do so I just sat and waited and it was at that point once and this is the thing once all the charge in my body had been released and once I was fully in the moment and only expecting the next moment that was when things shifted that was when my mind and body and the energy around me my awareness all melded into one so from that yes I've been able to duplicate a number and replicate a number of those experiences and imitate a number of those experiences and through applying and learning about awareness so not just awareness of the mind but awareness of the body and not just the awareness of those things separately but the awareness of the interaction between those things I have been able to come pretty damn close to imitating the experiences that I underwent in my enlightenment experience now the goal while it may be enlightenment the goal really is just to be at peace with where you are now that takes a little bit of doing and this is where the twin aspects of what I want to share come into play there is the healing aspect so yes you do need to remove the charge that's not only held in your body but it's held in your emotional field it's held in your mental field I'll talk to you about fields later on but you have to remove the charge now trauma is charge it's held energy and I'm going to show you later on how to access and release that held energy both on your own and with others it is important that you work with others to release this trauma I found that working on your own can only get you so far but it is of paramount importance that you remove this held energy this charge from your system slash systems at the same time you need to be developing your sense of self and the best way I have found to do that is through what I call dynamic self awareness so again through reverse engineering a lot of our experiences I've been able to map certain transitions that you can take which develop this connection not just with yourself but with others and not just with others but with your environment that and everything that is and through doing so I found something else that you actually access this when I'm explaining these things it's not just one understanding you have to get you have to get this conceptual understanding this holistic view there's a reason that people use these words and they're not just airy-fairy although they have we've sort of maybe forgotten the true meaning of these words but those words are there for a reason they encapsulate a certain set of patterns a certain set of energy patterns and once we understand these patterns it makes sense so in order to explain things I come at it from a number of different angles I give you a conceptual understanding and it's important to gain a conceptual understanding the goal is actually not so much to move forward it's to move almost behind so if you think of everything that you see everything that you hear everything that that comes to you through your senses behind that is what I would call a pre verbal dimension and it is this pre verbal state of being that we're after a good friend of mine and mentor and peer talks about two shoes hitting the ground the first is pure knowing the second is the interpretation or the reflection of that knowing so when something makes sense you get that initial that ping and then you start to fill in the gaps now this is mirrored in our brain in our visual centers as well first we get the broad picture our right side of our brain and then a left side of our left side of our brain fills in all the necessary information we need to either respond or react or navigate or create depending on what our needs wants and desires are in that moment so how do we get there first and foremost you need to learn how to access the neutral state so we can think of positives and negatives the idea here is yes we live in a dual universe or a dual reality there's this value system in place with two extremes a polar opposites positive and negative up and down left and right these are value systems there is a value that we place on all of our experiences and they can be a number of different values they all tend to either attract or repel problem is we can get stuck in one of those two flows so we can get stuck in the active state in the always seeking out pleasure in always looking for activity we can also get stuck in the reactive state in things happening to us in being in suffering and being at the receiving end but in the middle there's a neutral state in fact I'd put it to that behind everything you'll find this neutral state and that neutral state wall we could call it a void although it's anything but devoid or lacking in substance it most definitely has an energetic nature to it but until we learn to access this neutral state we're gonna have trouble think about the idea of dropping a stone into a pond what happens after that is a level of activity where the ripples move out but at some point those ripples will fade and the pond will return to its natural state always when there is activity in nature there is this eternal returning to the natural state things grow they are imbued with energy and they die and that energy dissipates or goes back to the source and yet we seem to live outside of this it seems that we have forgotten the skill of returning to a neutral state so I'm going to put it to you that it should be one of your primary practices to continuously be returning to a neutral native natural state it should and this is why I call it dynamic self-awareness there should be this sense of neutrality in everything that you do even when you are being active or performing an activity perform energy within form always there should be this balance this underlying sense of calm peaceful neutrality why it feels good when something feels good without when I say feel good I don't mean a feeling good in the terms in the sense of excitation we're sort of hung up on this idea that if for something to feel good there has to be a stimulus involved there has to be some kind of excitation some kind of chemical rush attached to it that is not what I'm talking about when I say feeling good and at a certain point you will no longer need to define the experience as either good or bad it will be whatever you decide it to be in that moment in my enlightenment experience there was as much energy there as I wanted to connect with as I'm all wanted to partake in as I wanted to or needed to use it was infinite and absolute it was a constant dynamic flowing state with this underlying sense of oneness of absolute power and empowerment of creativity without even knowing what the end result was you can quite simply fill a space or allow a space to fill you there was this constant interaction on a practical level I have practiced what some have called the art of staying present or being in the now but when people think about that they think you're just gonna sit there and do nothing that couldn't be any further from the truth because we do bring our own essence our own spark from the absolute through ourself into the world some would call the expression of this evolution in fact I think that's a very good way of defining our energetic nature and the purpose of that energetic nature we all come into this world with our own set of DNA our own unique signature based on what's been passed on through our parents and our ancestors we then are molded by our environment by the people around us through their beliefs which then become our beliefs and we start to define reality based on those beliefs and based on our ever-increasing experiences now the problem is we tend to accept some experiences and reject others and yet within all experience there is energy we become fearful of experiencing this energy mainly because we've forgotten how to experience life from a neutral state and so not only are we missing out on rejecting excluding certain aspects of reality we're also shutting ourselves off from the energy behind that reality including the neutral state and what I have found is that it is through that neutral state that we can access our true potential it sits surrounding just ahead of intermingled with that empowered neutral state and by sitting at this transition point between what some might consider nothing but which is in fact everything and by accessing our own unique what I call energetic signature so it is this evolving pattern this evolving sense of our self and our part that we are here to play in our role and our place when we live life from this space everything works out just fine in fact better than fine you quite literally feel good no matter what and you get to live a meaningful life that fits especially if you start to interact with this energy you can quite literally do whatever you want to do what I would suggest people do is to start to define their own reality the greatest fear that we have is that if we allowed everyone to be that there would be chaos but we've never tried it so how would we know we've always been held with fear we've always stopped ourselves from allowing potential energy to express itself when you truly understand trauma you can see why this has been because if we try this from a traumatized state it's not going to work because while there is charge in our system while there is held energy in our system stagnation darkness we can never fully access and we can never clearly express our one true nature history has shown us this and our present is showing us this or Wars or chaos or disorder it's all the release of traumatic energy up until now we've not known how to deal with that traumatic energy it's like the snake eating its tail we need to get out of duality but we're stuck in duality we need to release our reliance on force and counterforce but in order to allow this to happen we need to be clear and yet we don't know how to get clear we don't know how to clear this energy how to release this charge how to release this held energy except by effort which again has the duality of lack of effort or no effort so we get stuck bouncing between the two no way out why because we're trying to get somewhere and that's not how this works you're not trying to get anywhere you're not trying to push anything you're not trying to force anything if anything you're trying to allow this to happen what we've never been trained to do and the education system is a prime example of this education means to induce to draw out I put it to you that what we're trying to draw out is our our own energetic signature what happens in school there's this push and pull give and what should be received is wrongly assumed as give and take we're not really given much of a choice at one level there is this or that so that this answer or that answer but where is the other not there in fact society has constricted it's gone from this or that to just this it's this way it's only this way and if you think it's that way you're wrong and if you think it's any other way there's something wrong with you but the very essence of potential incorporates this that and most importantly the other if we have a belief system in place we believe that things should be a certain way why because the other way hasn't worked or maybe several other ways haven't worked but how does anything ever change when we believe that look at our our medical institutions how much they've changed over the years but there's always been the constant tension between this and that of people saying it's this way it's that way it's this way it's that way and then someone steps in and says what about this other way and at first they're shunned mainly because we're not taught to accept that there's other ways we're brought up with a twin value system this or that good or bad right or wrong but there is other ways but in order to explore those other ways we need to be in a clear dynamic state to do so when the time is right to be receptive be receptive when the time is right to be active be active when the time is right to be neutral be neutral the idea of right and wrong is an interesting one when we grow up the first five to ten years of our life is literally do this don't do that this is the right way that's the wrong way I'd like to put it to you that there is another way to perceive right and wrong and that is what some people might consider the wrong action is a learning experience around energy it's about understanding energy and the different ways it expresses us it's itself we know what's right and wrong deep down everyone knows what's right and wrong let me put it this way if you have to justify something you normally in some ways on the wrong path so how do we act without the moral compass of right and wrong when you access the neutral state when you access your own energetic signature the expression of that energy gives you the right answer gives you the truth in every moment think of time consider time as truth in minute envelopes the truth of the matter is that we don't wake up wanting to hurt people we don't wake up necessarily wanting to go out and attack someone or to make someone wrong what we do want is is to feel good what we do want is to be connected what we do want is to live a meaningful life as a child you didn't want to be angry as a child you didn't want to be violent you were taught that as a child you just wanted to play you just wanted to sit in the wonder it was all around you that wonder was energy we've forgotten it we've forgotten our energetic nature when we listen to music that we like we're accessing that energetic nature we're accessing that the feelings generated by those songs that's why we're attracted to them because they are very similar very familiar to our own energetic signature when we're doing something we like it's because it's very similar very familiar to our energetic signature when we find something new that we like or that interests us it is almost without doubt that it is an expression of your potential of your evolutionary energetic process fulfilling itself the reality that we are currently in it is a very fixed reality it is held in place through force and counterforce every description that we can make of current society and current reality is the same description we would make of trauma therefore our current reality our current society is a traumatized reality and a traumatized society we don't need to change anything what we need to do is return to neutral we have to go back we have to allow the excitation to release it's the only way until we do so we're going to be using the same energies the same traumatic energies that are the foundation of what we have now I can't be any other way people talk of extreme actions the extreme or extremists they're the ones that are pushing a certain dynamic at say a 10 if they pulled back a little on their actions say to an 8 is that really a good place to redefine the following actions no it's not what about our forms of government held in check by opposing forces force and counterforce sometimes their actions are considered okay others not other times not so let's just say they're acting at a six come election time we might drop back down to four because we haven't fully defined the energetic nature of government we're never truly going back to neutral our wheels are always spinning I'm gonna put it to you they're spinning quite quickly so they wouldn't even be close to coming back to a one or two or probably even a three or four it's got the point now where our institutions and our organizations are highly charged there's a reason for this as I mentioned earlier for whatever reason the time has come for this trauma to come out it has been drawn out whether we like it or not now people think that in order to release something that you have to force it to happen which tends to mean we go with it like right yes we're gonna need to tear this down so we actually become part of the problem we need to rectify this again we're still part of the problem we're still using some form of the energetic patterns that created the problem in the first place at this point in time we do not have the ability or the knowledge as a planet as nations as societies as cultures to return to a neutral state this has to happen on an individual level we need people to step away to become neutral and to start to redefine reality and until we do so we'll never move forward because we will always be held by trauma and held within traumatic reality so the goal is enlightenment which if you want a description or a definition you can think of it as an energized empowered completely neutral state of being in the enlightened state there is nothing to do there are no necessary courses of action there's not even any impetus inspiration or motivation to be or do anything there is literally just a state of energized empowered potential what you choose to do with that state is completely up to you I'm gonna put it to you though that if you go outside of your evolutionary purpose if you go outside of the potential for you to enact evolutionary change so what you're here to do if you go outside of your purpose it won't feel right it won't feel natural you will either be inspired or motivated to express yourself differently or life the energies of life will try to realign you and I think anyone that's honest with themselves can see that this happens in their own lives if you're going down the wrong path you've either got to keep it going to keep up the illusion or the minute you stop you're like oh this isn't good this is not where I meant to be this doesn't feel right I'm way off so the first step is to return to a neutral state step 1a in returning to a neutral state you got to be in your body forget about for now forget about everything to do with the mind apart from moving into your body and developing awareness of your body remembering the goal is to achieve a neutral state you can tell in any and every waking moment whether you are in a neutral state and you will learn to discern this I can show you in about two minutes how to discern this once you know it you can never unknown but what then we can't just sit around being all day can we no the next step is dynamic neutrality and all of these states of being all of these ideas all of these concepts they can all be practiced we can break we can once we understand the concept you can define the expressions of that concept for yourself I'm gonna give you quite a few different examples quite a few different practices quite a few different exercises and quite a few different methods of and ways of understanding your energetic nature of understanding your energetic signature of expressing your energetic nature and energetic signature and we're going to be doing that through a state of dynamic self-awareness let me put it to you this way all problems are just one problem that is a lack of self-awareness a problem is only a problem because we can't find a way out we are stuck in this pattern of energy that won't shift or release or change or transform we already know that it's because we actually need to go back into a neutral state and see what this pattern actually looks like once you can observe a pattern you can see from this way you can see it from that way you then can see the potential for other ways of this pattern to express itself both forward and backward and you don't even have to do anything in fact I'm going to show you a method of healing where you don't have to do anything you just have to observe and allow these patterns to express themselves and a pattern that expresses itself forward will create and a pattern that expresses itself backward will release if I were to express my understanding of reality is that things are happening always in all directions all at once so we think of forward and backward of creation and release of cause and effect but it's been my experience that these are one and the same thing so this is why I call it dynamic self-awareness because we can't we can't hold on to energy moving in a linear direction which is what we've kind of been led to believe that this action causes that effect this action has that consequence if we remove that action we will get different effects or no effects no consequences if we enact things in a slightly different way we'll get slightly different effects that is an observation of reality in one expressive dynamic we cannot exclude other expressions of that dynamic it's not how this works it's only because our attention has been drawn to the perspective that we are holding and we remember trauma is held energy held energy is held everything held attention held beliefs held perspectives in the state of enlightenment you can be cause and effect at the same time you can be the observer and the observed at the same time if this is true at the moment you only have my word for it but I'm going to show you how this is true but for the moment if this is true that cause-and-effect are one that means that there must be different ways to perceive things from an energetic perspective I've found at least three three major perspectives that one can hold the first we all know that is the idea of things particles pulse energy that thing is separate from that thing energy is made up of particles of separate things we have thoughts separate ideas one moving to the next why because that's where our attention is our attention cannot be on everything at once not without practice anyway our actions are normally based on one motivational force we become impulsive we become attached to specific outcomes using specific things with specific causes of action the beginning middle and end we like things to move in a known direction within a known specified period of time to a known specified end each little piece joined to the next getting us from point A to point B we can think of this quite simply as pulse energy but if you were to look at that say from a detached perspective all those little actions wouldn't be so separate would they when we watch a movie a movie is just made up of a series of images a series of particles series of pulses of light and sound and actions and thoughts and words but when they're all put together there is a flow and behind that flow is an author and that author had an intention and his intention was to get a message across so beyond and even within the pulse energy we find flow energy and a flow is quite literally an intention whether that's a slow evolutionary intention intention means to stretch towards evolution is simply stretching towards something else something more something different something other than what is in order for pulses and flows to exist aspect some kind of medium probably the biggest medium that we know is life the sky wasn't there the ground wasn't there the air wasn't there the water wasn't there we'd be no life or that's existing in a field and within the big universal field there is a solar system I mean in the solar system field there's a planetary system known as earth an ecosystem and within the planetary ecosystem there is a number of smaller systems in and amongst those ecosystems we have humans and animals and plants within each of those systems we have a series of separate systems making up those systems each of those systems has an overall feel an overall expression of energy and overall function and overall message that it carries for its own existence and for its continued existence so we have pulse energy flow energy and field energy so if we want to learn how to achieve first and foremost before anything else how to achieve a neutral state we can do so on three different levels we can observe a thought we can observe a thing at something in nature we can observe separate entities and we can observe more so in a natural environment in a natural ecosystem which is why people go out in nature we can observe the neutrality of those things when we look at a pencil it's neutral when you look at a plant it's neutral when we look at the act of washing up picking a cup up looking at a cup all of our actions separately are neutral why is we haven't attached an intention to it all we're doing is looking at the separate pieces take the word violent if you had not the whole scene just one piece of a violent scene a picture of a violent act and its essence nothing is happening we're not trying to fill in what happened before or after we have this idea of violence but it is just a picture without any intention behind it it is neutral we can attach meaning and intention when one human being is violent towards another human being we have a very negative understanding of that act when one animal chooses to attack another animal because it is its food source is it the same act yes is there a different intention behind it yes so once we have learned to observe the neutrality of life we can then create successive moments of neutrality and we can do this as I said earlier the first step is to get into your body so the first skill that we can learn is intentional movement and the intention to start with is neutrality we can move in a neutral way so what are the outcomes of our actions or our inactions what happens if we for example scare someone what have we done to the field of that person we've induced fear what happens if we give that person a hug we've induced comfort or security or empathy so our actions rather than having consequences or reactions or effects cause and effect it's probably better to think of them as transformations we are transforming the fields we are transforming transmuting the potential energy fields within without with everything now one of the major discoveries I found within the energetic nature of reality wasn't so much a discovery it was more of a understanding that I came to and it has been it's already been discovered in science and that is that if things happen one way means they can happen the other very good example of this is electromagnetism electricity if you have a wire with current running through it it will produce an electromagnetic field so here's a very good example we have the pulse created by machines on the man-made or otherwise and I'll go into this in a lot more detail in a separate book we have the flow of what we would call electricity but we also have a field around that while an electromagnetic field what that is exactly it's neutral energized potential this also works the other way if we have an electromagnetic field and we place a conductive wire in the middle of it electricity will run through that wire we have induced the flow of electricity if our impulsive continuous successive actions produce a potential or an actualized field what would happen if we first created a potential field would then not by placing ourselves within this field would we not create the conditions for the potential to flow through us not just outward remembering if one thing if something can happen one way it can happen the other so if something can flow out it can also flow in so by creating first and foremost a neutral field we are at the very least increasing our chances of experiencing neutral conditions allowing neutral experiences to enact with our field and to express neutral actions when practicing dynamic self-awareness we want to get to the point where all of this is happening all at once and it is just a matter of shifting our attention of shifting our focus of shifting our intentions and of shifting our awareness through our body through our mind through our energy fields it's going to enable us to not only connect with the enlightened energized empowered potential field of ultimate reality but it's going to allow us to express that reality in our own unique highly familiar and highly rewarding ways so that it will not and is not and cannot be left to chance to feel good no matter what and live a meaningful life that fits it is not cannot will not and will never be impossible to achieve enlightenment when you understand energetic self-awareness and when you practice dynamic energetic self-awareness we do this by first achieving a neutral state in the body and then by understanding the relationship between mind and body that is the subject for another book if you want to learn how to achieve a neutral state in quite a short space of time in fact I can show you how to experience it instantly within five minutes five to ten minutes I can then show you ways to expand that level of neutral awareness in a very short space of time then you know what to do you need to reach out you need to make a decision that this is what you want and then you need to do something about it because I guarantee you that beyond the neutral state is everything that you've ever desired how can I know that because just as all problems are one problem that being a lack of self-awareness all desires are one desire and that is to feel connected to feel part of something other than what we're experiencing I'm gonna put it to you that what you desire more than anything else is to feel connected to this enlightened state I know cuz I've been there I guarantee you this is what you're looking for and I think you know that too but I can also promise you that within a very short space of time I can show you and prove to you that this is real and then in a very short space of time you will know that this is real and this is what you've been looking for and from there really doesn't take long to start living this it really doesn't especially when you've got people around you they want the same thing because I think it should already be quite clear to you of what the interaction of mind and body is going to be all about that your mind and body are pretty much the same thing they're just expressing themselves differently so a thought and an emotion are the same thing in fact a thought is an emotion a thought is also a feeling just the other way around so think again of our pond if we drop the thought anger an angry thought into that pond an angry rock into the pond the ripples going out are the emotion if we are standing on the shore and the ripples of anger reach our shore the energy that we are feeling registers as something angry or something containing anger or something expressing anger oftentimes not oftentimes all the time the problem that we face is that we don't know the difference between feelings and emotions they're used interchangeably and wrongly so emotions go out it's in the word itself emotion energy emotion and feelings are what we pick up through our nervous system it's what we feel our thoughts our beliefs our interpretations they not only impinge on our own system so they become negative feedback loops but our thoughts go out into the world as emotions and they affect our fields and remembering happens one thing if it happens one way it's also happening the other so our field be that an angry field is then self generating angry flows of energy which is self generating angry pulses of energy it's this constant feedback loop pulse flow field thought emotion experience the expression of a thought with full conscious awareness is known as an intention you can think of as an intention as the communication of a series of thoughts in a flow so a pattern of energy otherwise known as a message with a desired outcome which can be either connection disconnection empowerment disempowerment engagement disengagement empathy antipathy or you can just be neutral the more you practice dynamic self-awareness the more you will see that our mind and our body and the energy produced by our mind and body are all working in different directions you will also find that once you start to align your mind and your body and the energies surrounding you and the energies within you that energize empowered potential state known as enlightenment that you will have a very different experience of life and one that I could pretty much guarantee is the one you've been looking for so for now I want to show you how to practice dynamic self-awareness so that you can become dynamically self-aware of not just your body and not just your mind and not just of the energy within your body and not just the energy within your mind and not even just the energy within your mind and body working together but of all that together as well as your interaction with energies outside of you be that nature the environment or other people and how that interplay of energies that interplay of awareness and that interplay of creative potentials is the very definition of reality and once you can understand and communicate that interplay that sense of play that we had as children then you will be defining your own reality and communicating that reality to others and communicating and expressing a dynamic spark that is within you that is uniquely you you'll be sharing that with others you'll be sharing your message with others you'll be receiving the messages of others and if other people are sharing their dynamic spark their energetic signature with you that energy is also empowered energized potential and when you are picking up on the empowered energized potential of another human being directed at you whoa baby look out that is pure magic that is orders of magnitude beyond where we are now but it is our destiny to reach that point we do so by becoming enlightened we become enlightened by engaging with dynamic self-awareness and we do it now
